Get Ready for K.O. Coliseum – Teamfight Tactics Set 15 is Coming!

Teamfight Tactics fans, brace yourselves! Riot Games has officially announced Set 15: K.O. Coliseum, which will bring a fresh, anime-inspired battle arena to the game. The new set will go live on July 30, 2025, with patch 15.1. Eager players can get an early look on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) starting July 15.

Core Mechanic: Power Up with POWER UPS!

The biggest new feature in K.O. Coliseum is the POWER UPS mechanic. During each game, you will receive two special consumable items called "Power Snax." Using one on a champion will let you choose one of three powerful, unique upgrades tailored specifically to that unit.

The possibilities are vast—from enhancing abilities and traits to permanently stacking stats or even forming special duos with other champions. Best of all, Power Snax are reusable! If you sell the champion holding it, the item returns to your inventory, ready to be used again.

The Evolution of Prismatic Traits and Gameplay Changes

Set 15 also changes the game for Prismatic Traits. To unlock their powerful, often game-winning potential, it's no longer enough to just assemble the required number of units. You will now need to complete a special "mini-quest" tied to that specific trait.

Here are a few examples:

• Battle Academia: Have 17 completed items on your Battle Academia units.
• The Crew: 3-star every unit from The Crew trait.
• Star Guardian: Have your team spend a total of 20,000 mana.

Additionally, the developers have revamped the mana system. A new "mana per second" stat is being introduced, and items will now boost mana regeneration instead of granting a flat amount. How champions generate mana will be more closely tied to their role on the board—for example, Tanks will be the primary units that gain mana from taking damage.
